A message from our President.

Dear All,

I am honoured and delighted to be your President for 2024.

To be representing my own club of Southbourne in this role is a particular honour as I have been a member there since taking up the sport many years ago. (Southbourne was one of the founding members of the Association in the 1930s)

A huge welcome to all new bowlers. I hope you will enjoy the friendship and camaraderie that I have experienced over the years. The most important thing is that you enjoy taking part in as much competitive or friendly bowling as you wish.

My chosen charity for the year is the National Coastwatch Institute. They have a lookout station at the top of Hengistbury Head which is manned by a team of volunteers; providing eyes and ears to support the emergency services as people increasingly look to our beautiful coastline and beaches for their leisure activities. Being proudly Bournemouth born and bred, it is close to my heart and I hope you will support me in raising funds for the great work they do.

I wish you all the very best for the season and look forward to seeing you all on the green in Friendlies, League matches and Competitions. Good health, good weather and good bowling.

With best wishes,

Suzanne Ager
President 2024
